Good Read

I think it will be better if tapping the search/voice search itself does something.

It does start the voice

It does start the voice search ;-)

But I have to recode the widget because the layout doesnt work on all devices, it has problems on hdpi devices.

Thanks for the awesome work

Thanks for the awesome work there. It helped me on the application. I can now navigate an address even without creating a shortcut. I’ll just have to renovate something and it’s all good.

Thank You!

Thank you :D! Some suggestions, can you make the icon the same size as default (48x48 I think). Cause when I put it as a shortcut on the desktop the label for this app is slightly higher than the rest, and it doesn't look very nice.

Also, the widget works just like a shortcut for now right? So what's the purpose? I think it will be better if tapping the search/voice search itself does something. Also, since the "textbox" isn't really used, maybe you can look into making a smaller widget? Lastly, the sides of the widget are slightly blurry.

With that said, this app is still very useful, thank you! :)

I have to look at the icons,

I have to look at the icons, I will rework it and make some custom Icons from CC images ;-)

About the widget, yes I could make a smaller widget, can you maybe fill a Enhancement Request on http://code.google.com/p/andrac/issues/entry?template=NavStart-Enhanceme... with the requirements and maybe some painting how it should look like?

About buttons should do something, yes that is my idea but I have to take some time to figure out a good layout, The idea comes from the original search widget, if you take a closer look, it does the same expect the buttons are triggering the voice search, it has a transition in opening the Search Intent and the search intent doesn't have a background ;-)

If you want to make some artwork for the widget, maybe different sizes and better looking (actual is just a screenshot of the app running and cropped to the searchbar) I will includ it and see that I get the widget layout to start different intents when clicking on the textfield or the voice search buton.

Thanks !

Thank you ! Nice work !
